Sunday in Zomba

Well if you haven't heard yet, we made it safely to Malawi and are getting settled into things here. It's Monday morning here now, and Josh is preparing to walk over to the church in a couple of hours to teach the pastors who have come.

I'm not going to try to reinvent the wheel by writing the same thing every day that Josh writes, especially since his blog posts are a bit of a joint effort. I may share more pictures at some point, but for now, I'll just link here to his posts. That said, here's his blog post from yesterday evening: Sunday in Zomba.

I will share one picture today, just for my mom. On Thursday night, we had to spend the night in DC to catch our flight the next day, and we got the chance to meet up with my cousin, Jeff, and his daughter, Lauren, neither of whom I'd ever actually met. We had a blast talking with them at a seafood restaurant for about 3 hours. My mom told me, "You'll know Jeff when you see him, he's got Williams (my mom's maiden name) written all over him," and she was right! I shared a picture on instagram, but it was a really terrible picture, so here's a better one, just for you, Mom, and the rest of the family who may be interested. :)
