18 Weeks and Ultrasound Pics

We had our big ultrasound on Friday morning... it's a boy!!

I haven't written much because I don't feel like there's much to write.  I didn't even take an 18 week belly picture because there's just not anything new to see!

I did feel the first, "oh that's definitely the baby" movements last Thursday at 16 weeks and 5 days, which was really exciting.  I have only felt him a couple of times since then.  It's funny, during the ultrasound he was all curled up in this tiny ball (which you can kind of see in the second picture) and the tech kept saying that he has plenty of room in there, he must just like being all curled up... which could explain why I still haven't felt much movement from him!  I'll be interested to see if he likes to sleep curled up like that after he is born.

Mom was here for the ultrasound (and for the rest of the weekend) and we had a fun time shopping for baby boy clothes.  It's crazy... of the 6 girls I know who are pregnant right now, 5 of us are having boys!  Who are all of our boys going to marry?? :)

Here are a couple of pictures of him.  First, a sweet little profile picture:
And here is a picture of his big 'ole foot.  Every time she would show us his feet during the ultrasound I would exclaim, "he has such big feet!"  You can tell in this picture how curled up he was.  From this angle he is completely upside down, you can see his leg go down from his foot to knee, then up to his bottom, and then you can kind of make out his body angled down and to the left.  I just can't wait to hold that sweet little man!

I originally didn't put the ultrasound picture of his boy parts up here, but I get so many searches for "18 week ultrasound boy" that I feel like I'm disappointing everybody by not having it, so here you go:
