Ridiculously Easy Honey Carrots

This is a great side dish that I make often because it is just so easy, healthy, and yummy. It's pictured with easy roasted chicken and cabbage salad (with a red bell pepper added to the cabbage salad).

Ingredients:
Carrots
Water
Honey

Directions:
Take as many carrots as you wish to serve and cut them up. Sometimes I cut them into thin, long strips, and sometimes I slice them like in the picture above.
Boil or steam the carrots until they are tender.
Drain carrots.
Take a big spoonful of honey and drizzle it over the carrots.
Enjoy.

See? I told you it was easy!

  1. Steamed carrots with honey are a staple in our household! Carrots are one of the few vegetables that Jack will ALWAYS eat, so we have them often. Only difference is, I steam them with the honey already drizzled on them, so it kinda cooks in = less mess for toddlers :-)
