Then and Now: The Washing Machine

Watching the washing machine run has been a favorite past-time of Jude's since we moved to Moldova and installed a washing machine right in the middle of our kitchen/dining/living room. Here is a picture I took of him shortly after we moved here in September 2009:

Oh, what a sweet little dude! Well, after living somewhere else for the last eight months, we are back in our little camp apartment and Jude has rediscovered the washing machine. Here he is a couple of days ago, a year and a half after the first picture was taken:

Can that really be the same boy in those two pictures? Those sweet cheeks say yes, but I just can't get over how much he has grown since we came here.
