Off and on this year, Josh and I have checked in on Project 365: Sisters Edition. It is a unique take on the photo-a-day challenge, because it is a team effort between three sisters, one of whom Josh went to college with. Inspired by this blog, I resolved quite a while ago that I would take on this project for myself in 2011.
The premise is simple, take a picture every single day for a year and post it on your blog.
I've been looking at other people's Project 365 blogs, and I love going through all of them. Some of them seem so random, some are almost entirely of their child or pet, and some, like the one I linked to above, just seem like such an intimate glance at everyday life.
That is my desire for my project. I'm sure I will have plenty of pictures of Jude and our animals, but I'm going to really try to limit them to a reasonable amount. I also don't want the pictures to be too incredibly random (although I'm sure that's unavoidable to some extent). I want the project to capture slices of our everyday life so that someone can look through the pictures, or we can look back on them at the end of the year, and really see the journey that our family has been on over the last 365 days.
So to sum up my vision for the project in two words, I want it to reflect our Life Journey. Does that sound too cheesy? Well, I'm sorry if it does, but I think it will really help me stay focused.
We are excited about all of the things that 2011 will have in store for us. Some of those things we know already-- we will each turn a year older, Josh and I will celebrate our 5th anniversary, we will move back to America and, Lord willing, find a church to serve-- but many, many more of those things we can't even imagine at this point.
Stay tuned as we discover together the journey that our lives are going to take in 2011.
