I know, I know... I haven't been crafting as much lately, or even browsing craft websites. But I'm back!
Several months ago, my mom got me a beautiful old rocking chair from a lady she works with. There was just one thing missing... it didn't have a seat!
So today I spent the afternoon upholstering a seat for it, and it turned out very beautiful if I do say so myself. :) Don't believe for a second that it went right together the first time... I had ripped out staples all over my living room floor! One important thing I learned- it's best to staple one edge straight before you start worrying about stretching the material and stapling the other edges.

Looks great! I got a staple gun for Christmas, but I haven't used it for any projects yet.
