Pregnancy Week 8

8 weeks... Two months!  Only 7 more months to go until we get to meet our little blessing!

I've had a little bit more energy this week... and by "a little bit" I mean that I've been able to come home from work, lay on the couch all evening watching TV and reading, and then go to bed between 8 and 9 (as opposed to falling asleep on the couch as soon as I get home).  I've been really emotional this week, too.  I feel like I could bust out in tears at any moment, especially when I'm really tired.

As I posted the other day, I am CONSTANTLY starving but repulsed by all food!  The only things that have set well on my stomach lately have been salads, pecan spinwheels, dill pickle spears, and some cheapo oat and honey granola bars.

Baby Center says that our baby is about the size of a kidney bean this week, and is constantly moving and shifting around in there, even though I won't feel that for several more weeks.

Josh and I have been throwing around a few baby names already.  We have a girls name that we both like, but we're going to have a lot harder time agreeing on a boys name.  There are just too many good ones!  I've vetoed his top choice (Joshua Caleb Jr.) and he has vetoed my top choice (Oliver), so we'll see what happens!

  1. I also was like that in my first pregnancy, all I wanted to do was sleep.

  2. My 2 yr. old is named Oliver! I think you have great taste. My 1 yr. old is named Liam. We also liked Gideon and Isaiah... Don't know if that helps or not. I just thought it was cool that your first choice was the same as mine!
