Day 61: Our Wild Moldovan Child

In Moldova, all of the children wear these brightly colored, thick tights under their clothes in the winter. Jude has two pairs of them and I actually really like them- they are really warm and practical. When he runs around the house in just his shirt and tights, I feel so Moldovan because that's how the kids play at the indoor play places in the winter- they just take off their pants and play in their shirt and tights.

  1. It's a Ukrainian thing too. I remember visiting our boys in the orphanages and all of the children wore these same brightly colored tights. It takes a while to get use to, but you're right, it is very practical.
